Unati Swach School Abhiyaan

The “Swach School Abhiyaan” initiated by UNATI is making a profound impact on the cleanliness and hygiene of our community and government schools.-e The program has significantly improved the condition of the school toilets in 180 schools region- wide by providing Safai Sanitation Workers. The successful implementation of the Pilot program in one block was replicated accordingly. Today, Unati has adopted all schools of Hajipur and Talwara.

The Swach School Abhiyan program has not only contributed to a hygienic & healthier environment for the school community – students and teachers, but also has a direct impact on girl children’s attendance in schools, enabling them to attend school regularly without any concerns for sanitation facilities.

The provision of clean and hygienic toilets in schools is a fundamental aspect of ensuring a conducive learning environment for students. By addressing this critical need, the “Swach School Abhiyaan” is playing a vital role in promoting education and facilitating the regular attendance of the girl children, empowering them to pursue their academic aspirations without the hindrance of inadequate sanitation facilities.
